October 7th 2010 – Alexander will be appearing in Stratford Upon Avon to discuss his brand new Isabel Dalhousie novel, The Charming Quirks of Others.

October 9th & 10th – Alexander will be a guest of the Cheltenham Literature Festival for two events (the second of which is already sold out, alas…)

   Will Alexander McCall-Smith be in Edinburgh in June, 2011? We are attending our Granddaughter’s Graduation from University of Edinburgh this June and have really apprecdiated his skill and ability in the Isabel Delhousie Series to take us to real neighborhoods, where we will be staying. My husband w”as a Philosophy Msjor -he and “Isabel share the same views. We are so addicted to his writing.I am saving “44 Scotland Street series for the flight over to the UK!
